It's happening, and we need to act quick, this is the home stretch. It is going to happen in Florida after all, I was mistaken to say that no Florida doctors would touch him. So let's get the facts out:

  • When is the surgery set to take place? This Thursday, June 11th - only 2 days away

  • Why should you care? Because the boy is 4.5 years old and has expressly denied his consent to have this procedure performed. His father is on some sort of circumcision rampage that has involved extended court battles, tons of money on legal fees, Chase and his mother fleeing to an abused women's shelter from the father, and the jailing of the mother until she gave her handcuffed/crying "consent" to the procedure when the judge took away the father's need to have her consent before going ahead with the surgery. Think about that for a moment.

The child has documented contraindications to surgery, including a prior idiopathic reaction to anesthesia, and a tendency to keloid.

Chase is scared sh*tless about going under and losing a credit card's worth of the most sensitive skin off his penis, and needs someone like you to hear his wishes and help enact them.

  • What can you do?

1.) Post to the hospital's Facebook Page:

Share images, links, and more information regarding Chase and his situation. This is a healthy child whose loving mother has done all she can to protect him and his wishes to remain intact.

2.) Call the hospital with similar information. It is important that Chase's voice be heard in this:

4.) Share Chase's story far and wide. Call radio stations. Post to news sites. Ask every single media site to cover this. We are talking about a real, living, loving child who has been taken from his mother (as she gave her all to protect him and his wishes), a child who is healthy and normal in his development at age 4.5 who has been given a phony phimosis diagnosis with a father who wants to cut his son's penis for his own individual reasons.

5.) If you are in/near/can get to South Florida, plan to attend the demonstrations outside Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital every single day if necessary. Contact "Intact Florida" for collaboration with others involved.
