They opened the Canadian Centre for Men and Families last year. It's the first of its kind in Canada. From what I understand, they raised all the money to open it on their own (no gov't funding - correct me if I'm wrong).

From their website:

"The first facility of its kind, we are an open, inclusive and safe space dedicated to the health and well-being of boys, men, fathers and their families. We provides workshops, counseling, discussion groups and a variety of special events. Programs include trauma and abuse support, suicide prevention, fathering, tutoring, mentorship and legal aid. We run services, research, advocacy, outreach and public education on all aspects of men’s issues."

They are being smeared in the media and on the Toronto subreddit as misogynistic, opportunistic shitlords akin to the the KKK who don't actually do anything except attack women. Well, that's clearly bullshit. They do a lot. And we need to start pushing back against the people who say they don't. Spread the word.
