Inaccurate in several different ways. It's misquoting the NISVS.

(1) the figures don't represent rape but "rape" including stuff which is not legally rape : drunken sex and attempted rape

(2) the 'lifetime" figure is not "will be raped at some point in their lives" but rather whether they have already experienced rape already in their lives. It makes no projection.

(3) NISVS ignores stuff that is legally rape, namely : men raped by women (which is about 40% of all rape and 80% of the rape of men)

To be fair the NISVS summary is deliberately misleading about (1) and (3).

(4) This estimate doesn't include prison rape.

Finally by quoting the lifetime results not the 12 month results you get a misleading statement for the purposes of comparing men and women's numbers. and if you aren't doing that then it might be best just to say what proportion of people are raped (or rather "raped").

Well, having sex while drunk counts as rape now even if it was consentual so yeah 1 in 5 makes sense.
