Looks like there is a lot of opportunity for journalists to research and publish bias in Rolling Stone, documentaries like this one, etc.

A woman claimed a man assaulted her roommate. The main evidence of a crime was a condom with blood on it, but DNA showed the blood didn't come from either the man accused nor the roommate. The accuser's blood was on it, along with another man's.

In other words, she gave the police a condom she used with an unrelated man as evidence.

The university and police examined everything they could and found no sexual assault. The documentary still featured the case as an example of something it looks like it wasn't, though the filmmakers claimed they researched everything.
