Completely fucked. It's probably best to just move on and take this disaster as a life lesson. Namely that a woman can fuck you over on a whim and there's nothing you can do about it. Given how much power she has over him trying to fight it is just going to piss her off and get him in even more trouble.

Basically you know like how black people were with whites in the 19th century? That's how he has to be with her. Grovel as necessary and just get the fuck out of that situation. Hope she's got it out of her system and doesn't try to follow up.

Its important to attempt to counter file. Peace order and then a restraining order. With those you can then most likely sue for dissolution of the lease and reclamation of lost money due to being forced to pay their side of rent without being able to use the facilities.

i too have a friend who just last week or so had a similar issue. but theres a baby girl and his son involved. chicks a mental midget trying to sell her kid away but the dudes solid with legal rep and already filed what ever motions and papers....would be funny if it was the same guy. ill go first mine is in the pacific northwest.

Perhaps you could help as a character witness? Ask him / his lawyer if that may help. Establishing good character as well as legal tenancy can only help ? maybe ....

did he already vacate the place? if not he can fight the eviction... of course that will take money. if he did already leave then he is most likely out of luck. essentially if he already moved out in the eyes of the court it was voluntary and so he has no legal grounds. in fact, if there was a lease agreement in place then if he tries to cause trouble the landlord could sue him for breaking the lease regardless of the fact that he was given an eviction notice... so yeah, if he already left then its best not to look back!
