Hey TRP!
I have been with my girlfriend for just under a year now and we have a very trusting and loving relationship. I see her around 3-4 times a week and it's great when we spend time together.
She's a very depressed person underneath, I know she is but she doesn't like to admit this (I don't tell her that either). As anything, I'm there to be her rock and guide her through any hard times and listen to how she's feeling.
My problem is sometimes her behaviour. For example, we will be play fighting because she has tried popping a spot on my face so I grab her arms until she's unable to achieve what she wants, I make it clear that she isn't popping my spot because I don't want her to, but she takes that as an incentive to carry on doing it until she gets all worked up and tired because she can't get what she wants. She will start raising her voice as if I'm hurting her (she didn't say I was 10 minutes ago and I haven't held her any tighter than I was from the start) and turn into a whiny bitch. I know this because she will start huffing and puffing, she becomes easily agitated from things such as the quilt coming loose and be in a mood. This has mainly happened right before we head off to bed and have sex.
My reaction, I don't argue back with her and I just ignore her. I let her huff and puff, I let her take off her own clothes in bed so she's naked and I let her go to sleep, without saying a word. I just go onto my phone and block out whatever she's doing. I do not give her any cuddles, kisses or any affection, and of course, I stop myself from having sex with her because she definitely doesn't deserve it.
My question is, am I dealing with this type of behaviour in the correct way? Is she shit testing me to see if I'll come groveling for sex, groveling to cuddle her etc? How can I deal with her whiny bitchy behaviour in the best possible way? I don't want to sit there arguing over the fact I wouldn't let her pop my spot, how ridiculous... At times I have felt like saying to her that if she carries on, I'm just going to exit the building and leave her on her own for the night.
