Why must we take sides in the battle of the sexes? Hostile reactions to sensible debates over gender equality obscure the truth that both men and women face disadvantages in modern life.

Not bad. Now if we can get that Journalist to realize that women as a group aren't exactly victimized to a large degree by having about 50 or 100 of them denied CEO places (The vast swathes of women losing out! THE HORROR! Lightning strikes more oppressive than patriarchy!) and then ask to justify talking about 50/100 people being denied extreme affluence and condemned to the horrific fate of middle class levels of wealth in the same category as hundreds of thousands of the prison population, the homeless population, the suicides, the overwhelming majority of victims of violence, the fact men are still strictly gender policed and women are not, etc.

I think it's clear which group is more "Oppressed." Do I want more women CEO's? Sure. I just think we need to have some semblance of sane priorities.

No thank you. When feminism is declared a hate movement, and individual feminists, and those that aided and financed the movement are purged from society, then gender reconciliation will be possible.
