Not only is it racially divisive, it is looking at the wrong thing, if this sentence is correct:
A newly introduced state bill would create one of the first ever interagency task forces in California to improve outcomes for young boys and men of color.

I'm opposed to judging "equality" by outcomes rather than opportunity. Outcomes can and will vary greatly in a system of equal opportunity, and there's nothing wrong with that, it's natural. This sounds like an example of the left's idea of "helping men and boys"... limit it to minorities only, no whites allowed, and judge it based on outcomes instead of opportunity. This is exactly the kind of "help" we don't want.

So they reject a bill to help men and boys of color and replace it with one that helps men, boys, women, girls, immigrants, and people of marginalized sexualities. How many people really believe there's going to be a whole lot done for men and boys and the focus won't shift to these other groups?

Sounds to me they had a chance to help men and boys and instead did the same old same old. Pay lip service to it and help women and girls.

This bill is much like like Feminism, only catering to certain demographics while ignoring others. It is racist and separatist.
