Here's the thing: I don't care if they do a Ghostbusters threequel with women. What I care about is if the movie's going to be good.

This one shows every sign of sucking.

They could put men in those roles and the movie would still suck, because it's not going to be written as a movie that stands on its own merits, it's going to be written as a vehicle for a political message. "You must like this movie because feminism."

Later, when it tanks, feminists will use it as "proof" of sexism.

Oh yeah, and:

Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Akroyd and that other dude who played Winston

I know the whole thing is supposedly written from someone else's point of view, but his name is Ernie Hudson, you fucking racist.

The movie's probably going to be terrible and that's just fine, since the point isn't to make a movie but a statement, to generate articles exactly like that one. It will bomb, and it will be because the mens hate strong female protagonists, this is why we need feminism blah blah blah
