Men are protectors it's hardwired into us..I dunno how many times I've heard or read of stories of drowning children being rescued by strangers while the mother yelled but did not act herself..Happened to my sister, her husband and other men intervened at extreme danger to themselves while she stood by..I don't mean to shame women but protecting themselves from danger comes naturally to women as putting themselves in danger to protect others comes to men.
