Clearly the problems in both UVA and Duke were due to trying the case in the media instead of a closed hearing.

If they'd been allowed to hold secret, closed door hearings, the men could have been prosecuted and persecuted without those pesky facts getting in the way.

To anyone at UVA reading this, you guys are fucking cowards. Every bullshit article on the Daily Cavalier website has like 100+ comments from students, alumni, and parents rightly denouncing the false narratives identified by the OP, but no one's putting their name to anything or making any kind of public action.

The only actual resistance I've seen so far is an op-ed written by a UVA professor and his student son calling for Sullivan to apologize to fraternities. Otherwise, it seems like everyone on campus is just submitting to every insane new regulation or initiative.
