This is the daily mail being fucking retarded again and not understand what is actually being claimed.

The actual claim is that obviously as overall size increases there is a cost of increased body mass meaning in terms of percentage of body mass the bigger you are the less " efficient" your ability to carry.

I.e an ant can carry many times its own body weight, but an elephant cannot

BUT OBVIOUSLY AN ELEPHANT CAN CARRY MORE TOTAL WEIGHT THAN AN ANT.

So really this means that a smaller woman can carry a slightly greater percentage of her own body weight than a much bigger male can , but this still means the male can carry a larger load/ bag.

Daily mail is utter shit.
