What is your opinion of Andrea Dworkin? Does anyone see anything positive in her?

She does provide a good example of feminism unmasked.

If she were some random commenter on a thread, she could be dismissed as unrepresentative of feminism. But she was one of the leaders. That means, by definition, that there was a large chunk of feminism that agreed with and supported her opinions.

Do you believe all her stories about abuse? It seems every man she ever met abused her in some way, and in 1999, at the age of 53, she came up with a drug rape story. She, of all people, would have known to get immediate medical confirmation of her story, but apparently did not do so.

No. A sad individual who lived a sad life. A testament to the damage hatred and bigotry does to ones own soul/psyche.

the only quotes i've heard from her have been from MRA, so maybe i don't have the whole picture, but everything she said was extremely vitriolic, with little supporting research.

to say "all men are evil, because I say so," isn't worth listening to, as it's not any sort of analysis. it's just propaganda, and shouldn't be taken seriously. at least feminists who pretend to be reputable quote shoddy statistics. even if the researchers had a motive and the numbers are highly tampered with, hey, at least they're trying.

Dworkin also claimed she was raped late in her life, which is universally acknowledged, even by feminists, to be fabricated. Lying about a rape in order to get street cred from your community speaks volumes about her lack of integrity, and about the credulity of the feminist movement as a whole. Dworkin blamed her poor health late in life on this "rape", rather than acknowledging the real culprit, her gross obesity.

Her YouTube videos are great. Other than that, I can't say I like her much.
