Jailed: Grimsby woman who cried rape 14 times and then forged letters from Deputy Prime Minister expressing 'outrage'

When a woman cries rape it dishonours the genuine victims of rape. You have no right to deserve the sympathy given to those women. You have no place among their number. The Lord Chief Justice said once the public realise there are women, such as you, who are prepared to make false allegations of rape, it causes juries, in cases of genuine rape, to think twice. It can no longer be said that women will not lie about such things.

Holy shit, it's finally happened.

Knowing that women do "lie about such things" do you think they will go back and see how many innocent men who didn't have the luxury of an alibi have been put in jail because the police decided to put the allegations in front of a jury despite the lack of evidence, and the jury simply decided to believe what the woman claimed (because apparently it used to be said that "women will not lie about such things")?

So basically if you're lucky enough that the nutcase woman is so stupid she lies about rape in a place known to be under constant surveillance THEN you ONLY get to spend 35 hours in jail.

What is that? 8 hours to check her story is bullshit and another 27 hours just to make sure the innocent man doesn't get any funny ideas?

What happens if the woman isn't that stupid?

I think they'll have more problems with her. Maybe her next crime will involve killing somebody, if that's the only way she can get attention.

I like how the big finish to the article is how she damaged the plight of genuine rape victims. Not the poor guy who's been put through hell or all the other poor guys like him who are the real victim of her/their crime.
