I think its pretty good, one commentator makes the point that you could easily write the same article about women.

"girl culture" is equally stupid, vapid and superficial.

Besides, "lad culture" or "douchebag behavior" seems to work quite well on attracting women, else men wouldn't do it.

Is it really the lad/fratboy types who are fragile, vulnerable, and suicidal? From what I can see, those types have a loyal and supportive circle of friends, they've managed not to internalize the sense of Catholic guilt about masculinity that so many oversocialized young men are imbued with, they're seizing every opportunity for fun and adventure, and they have an irrational cockiness that serves them well in overcoming life's setbacks and winning that very palpable prize of being able to have sex with young women.

What exactly is "lad culture"? Is it lije being a "frat boy" type of thing?
