I'm not even going to read the whole thing, but I love how we're blamed for "trying to deny" a connection to Elliot Rodger when there is no evidence whatsoever of a connection. As far as I can tell, Elliot Rodger never mentioned the MRM in his videos or his manifesto, and I have seen no evidence he was even aware the MRM existed. The only "evidence" I've seen put forward are his blatant misogyny (because misogyny didn't exist until the MRM), his use of PUA terminology (PUAs are not MRAs), his membership on a bodybuilding forum (not related to the MRM; also, everyone there called him an asshole), and his membership in an anti-PUA forum (not related to the MRM; also, everyone there called him an asshole).

If you have evidence that Rodger was connected to the MRM, bring it forth. Until then, it is a blatant, unapologetic lie.

I just saw this and it kind of made me a little ashamed. The reason I follow this subreddit is because I believe that Men's Rights has an equally legitimate platform as women's rights. The fact that they're taking the extremist view and generalizing the points this platform is trying to make is just as bad a men's rights generalizing radical feminism. The one particular point that sticks out in my mind is that the media doesn't hold men to the same standards as women in regards to attractiveness. This whole article is to justify why men's rights doesn't have a legitimate leg to stand on, which is extremely hypocritical.
