Let me explain what I mean, I feel like I agree with the most basic tenets of the blackpill, but I reject pretty much everything that comes after that. I guess you could say I am descriptively blackpilled but not PREscriptively.

I think that in general, yes, dating in the modern era is heavily skewed in women's favour. I think that for all of history men have naturally been the pursuers and women naturally pick the pursuer they like the most. Obviously we all know exceptions to this but generally this is the case. In my opinion men in the past shaped society in such a way to give themselves more power and ability to find and maintain partners to make up for this disadvantaged position, however often in immoral ways that infringed upon women's natural rights.

In the modern era, we are seeing women take back more of their autonomy than they have previously had, and we also are seeing the rise of the internet and online dating. I'm not opposed to women's emancipation at all, but this in combination with online dating has not only restored, but actually severely exaggerated the dynamic that naturally exists between men and women, that of pursuers versus choosers. Now though, instead of choosing the best pursuer in their workplace, college or friend group, young women are able to choose the best pursuer in their entire city, or even beyond that, the best pursuer within 50 miles.

Now, I consider myself ugly but not hideous, I'd say 4/10 on a good day. But I think the linear number rating scale of attraction is too one dimensional. Personally, while I am below average, my biggest issue is that I just look weird. Like, people aren't physically repulsed by me but the shape of my skeletal structure, skull and facial proportions is just really odd and uncanny. I have literally never met or even seen someone who resembles me, I kind of look like a simulated person more than a real one. I have attracted a VERY small minority of women over the years but they tend to be very lacking in emotional intelligence, ambition and conversational skills. In fact, I have been in one relationship in my life that lasted 5 years but ended in disaster when she ran off with one of my best friends. Apart from her I've slept with one other person but again she was very socially inept.

I am 25 years old and throughout all my years at high school and university, the countless parties I've been to and people I've met, I have never had any girl catch feelings for me. I have never been friends with a girl and had that turn into something more, never had a girl say yes to me asking her out etc. The two girls I mentioned above were ones I met on dating apps. In the real world, the most success I've ever had with women were a couple of drunken kisses with girls at parties who ghosted me the next day when I reached out to them. For the past year I've been on countless dating apps, generously swiping right day after day, but never gotten anything going beyond a handful of initial matches.

Because of my pretty miserable track record with women in comparison to most guys my age, I think it's pretty clear that I am undesirable to 99 percent of women. I look ugly and weird and I have autism, and in today's dating market that just doesn't cut it. Despite the fact I am not an incel, I am very close to bottom of the barrel and would absolutely still be a virgin were it not for a couple of lucky tinder matches with girls who had stupidly low standards.

Where I depart from a lot of blackpillers is what comes after this basic truth has been established. Whenever I go on the incels forum I always see the most insane shit there that I would never in a million years endorse. Celebrations of violence, racism, rallying against age of consent laws and even proponents of animal abuse because of the 'dogpill' or something. I'm not saying the blackpillers here are like that but generally I see a lot of blackpillers extrapolating the pain of their circumstances into something heinous.

Personally I'm a progressive on pretty much every issue. I don't think the dating market is so skewed because of some globalist agenda to corrupt women with feminism or something, I'm also against bigotry and I generally support social democratic policies with the aim to uplift everyone. I don't think its anyones fault that the blackpill is real, its just a natural byproduct of the way society is evolving.

Sorry for the wall of text, but that's essentially my thoughts on this whole thing and was wondering if anyone else feels the same way. Also happy to discuss with you even if you disagree. Thanks for reading.
