If you are not religious and you are educated, you know that we are self replicating machines. Everything, and I mean everything in our bodies and minds is been forged trough natural and sexual selection for one and only one “purpose”, to spread your code efficiently. Now what happens when the unfortunately conscious replicating machine not only realize the cold futility of this blind mechanism, but also realize that it sucks at what it is supposed to do? Yeah no wonder sometimes people go crazy on this subject and starts to say a lot of mental things. I would say life is cruel but I can’t even say that, it is what it is.
