Just stating a fact. It's kill or be killed. She doesn't care if you self delete as long as you're providing some value like money etc she justifies you're existence and presence in her life.

Otherwise, if you bring nothing to the table , women are generally different than men because they are much more risk averse. They won't stop to jump in and save a man from being run over by a train, for example. Their self protection instinct is much more high than men's.

So for that reason, women have never evolved a reason to have empathy to men who are of no interest or value to them. It's been counter productive to do so and those that did would have taken greater risk and been less likely to pass on their genetics as a result.
