Crosspost "My Husband (37m) Reduced My (42f) allowance and it’s ruining my life" from /r/FemaleDatingStratPros:

My husbands a lawyer and made roughly $1 million a year all the way until covid. After covid his firm reduced his hours and high value client load.

For the last two years he’s been barely clearing $300k and it’s severely affecting my life.

Previous I had to an allowance of 5k a week. This was for non household expenses. I would usually get beauty treatments, shop, pay for my driver and also for some of my girlfriend outings.

Now my allowance has been slashed from 5k a week to 5k a month. It’s been this for nearly 2 years and I can’t deal with it anymore. I am literally so embarrassed.

I enjoyed being rich now I feel poor and my husband is a failure in my eyes. There are other other lawyers at his firm still making $1m+ a year and they are single.

I’m still good looking and it’s not too late to get a more high value man. I don’t know what to do. All I know Is I will never be happy with my failure of a man. Not only that but he’s only 5’8.
