So she moved out unexpectedly mid April and I have had ZERO communication with her since. She changed her number and has provided no way of communicating with her other than me sending her mom an email or text. Or mailing a letter. She moved across the country, drained our bank accounts, took the newest car we had, and forced me to close our business since she was the field labor while I was the office worker.

Anyway, she filed a couple of weeks later and things just dragged on and on. Finally in August, the final negotiations begin and we sit down in the same building on October 1st for mediation (so glad we weren't in the same room). We come to an understanding (better than I thought honestly) and we both sign and date the agreement. Next step? Create the draft of the final decree so my attorney writes that up and sends it with a response deadline of this last Monday. So I'm thinking YAY! We're finally going to finish this. In all honesty, I didn't want this at all and was totally taken by surprise by this turn of events. In a small way, I still don't want it. But after the last several months of hell, I just want it over so I can move on with life. She already has but I can't until this is done. It's just something about me. So this is ending right? WRONG!

I get an email from my attorney today (3 days after the deadline) saying that he just found out her attorney is trying to "Withdraw as her council"!!! WHAT?!?!? Wasn't this supposed to be ending? So now my attorney is going to challenge that attempt but has stated that this will delay the completion and we will probably have to have a hearing. We were so freaking close!!!!! Why can't this just be done?!?

Sorry for the rant. Had to get it off my chest. I still love her and still can't believe this is happening but I need this to end so I can start enjoying life again and move on.
