This is Texas specific, not sure how things work everywhere else. My friemd Nick has been divorced from his wife Jessica for about five years. He has full time custody of their 10 year old daughter.

She has dragged him into court on five seperate occasions to try to contest the custody and get the daughter back full time.

She is 0-5 in trial after trial and my friend has kept custody and been a great dad this whole time. His lawyer is telling him that despite the fact that at five different trials, no judge has sided with her, she is allowed to re file the case once per year.

This does not seem right or legal. My friend has spent tens of thousands of dollars defending himself in court, and today got a letter saying they are going back to court and he has to come up with another 15,000 retainer.

Can this be right? She can say Fuck what the judge said, i'll just file a new case year after year until ex goes insane?
