It’s such a bizarre thing, divorce.
Background info: married 10+ years, 2 kids, SAHM, decent income 100k+.
Some days are hopeful and some are filled with despair. Most days are a mix of both.
I suggest following most of generally recommended principles on this sub, but I didn’t follow one. I got into a new relationship pretty quick. And I don’t regret it.
I can only reassure you , fellow redditor, that I have my own world of shit to deal with, however I find a new woman in my life pretty quickly. I admit, it was the result of a fair amount of luck as well. However, to have someone treat you right, to respect you and understands what it’s like makes all the difference in the world in a relationship.
Gentlemen, everyone on this sub is a good man and any woman would be lucky to have you. Unfortunately not every woman will realize their good fortune to have you. Move on, find someone that is not just compatible but appreciative. Whether its today or 5+ years from now - be realistic but don’t settle.
