We are about the file. She has mentally and emotionally moved on. The divorce is mutual and I in fact first raised it. Decided 6 months ago, and I moved out 3 weeks ago.

I am over there a lot, to see the kids and walk the dog. They will come over to my home soon as I get it properly furnished. My stbxw and I are civil. I am friendlier than her, but OK.

But everytime I am around her, or have to text with her, or call her, I feel so nervous. So many memories associated with her, both good and bad. I wonder if the wife sears into the husband's brain more than vice versa. And I feel like there may be some PTSD for me there, too.

Are there any techniques or strategies to basically decondition myself from this connection faster than time alone? She was super tough to be married to. I have no doubt we should be divorced and I have better days ahead. But the connection is still, so...intense. When I see her I crave holding her even though I absolutely know she isn't mine and isn't healthy for me anyway. Doesn't seem so for her, she is fully done. And yes, there is someone else in a brewing situation for her, who lives a few hours away, and they probably will meet at some point but haven't yet, which of course helped her move on. Perhaps that anticipation is adding to the constant pain and nervousness in my stomach.

Strategies? Thanks.
