I sat in a Hooter’s on Christmas Eve the last year we were together after almost two years of hell from her about being a terrible father, never loving her, poor communicator, and all kinds of other senseless, false garbage she manufactured because she was unhappy with herself and that her father was dying. Drank one beer and went back to the house. Loneliest night of my life, maybe. She told me she definitely wanted divorce a week later. Married 15 yrs with three young children.
