So I’m finally going to consult an attorney. After years of conflict and two kids I’m done with my wife not respecting me. I’m the stay at home dad with 2 kids that I home school. We own a farm and I manage all of the finances and house and farm tasks. She literally goes to work and comes home spends a little time playing with kids while then they go to bed and she reverts to her go to move. Sitting in front of her iPad and scrolling on her phone. It’s been like this for YEARS. When I come to approach her and sit down and ask how she is or if she’d like to do something with me I’m met with annoyance for bothering her. I do all of the cooking and cleaning around the house with the exception of her personal laundry. I take care of feeding and watering her horses and all the rest of our pets . Yes I know it sounds extreme but I swear this is the case. Let’s move on to the other bits. I’m a veteran with enough compensation to float myself and I intend on going for spousal and child support as she is a Therapist at a large hospital making good money but doesn’t have the time to take care of the kids like I do since I am self sufficient with money but not enough to cover kid expenses and such. She has a history of hitting me (but I don’t have evidence, just my word) and I have video evidence of her pushing me off the porch and texts from her threatening to run me down with the car. I’m just not sure if all this amounts to enough for a at fault divorce. I don’t love her anymore and staying together for the kids just doesn’t seem right anymore. So what I’m asking here is a crowdsourcing of info. Stick it out and find a good therapist? Or is it time to fight dirty? Apparently ethically these physical acts and threats can jeopardize her career and I don’t know if I want to go down that road. Any insight would be great TIA
