My wife left our home 2 years ago, leaving me with our kids (16 and 13). The oldest has very serious mental health issues--violence, up all night). I do every morning (6am for a 7am schoolbus for both) for these 2 years. Last Christmas she served me. I was shocked but lawyered up this spring. Anything my lawyer does that defends me, my wife calls me screaming at me. I have to stay in touch due to the oldest's mental health issues and danger to himself. to make decisions (hospitalize again? etc) I can block her but she shows up screaming when our kids are here (most of the time). Anyway today my lawyer filed a petition for child support for me. I earn a lot, she earns 20k, so, what? But lawyer says I will not have to pay child support since I provide 100% of it already and she should contribute at least a few hundred a month from her income. Soon as she learns of this my wife will go ballistic, will show up at my house screaming- will cut off all communication, leaving me with no help in managing our oldest--and I still go to work, so he's alone in the house all day if she doesn't swing by to check on him. Anyway, here comes the fires of hell upon me. But after 2 years its past time to have my lawyer stand up for me. Police order/injunction not gonna happen--cops and judges here don't take a tiny wife verbally attacking a large husband seriously. I can still pull this petition, wont be filed til Tuesday. Thoughts?
