I have a very manipulative ex, after years of problems and over 20 breaks in the child arrangement order, I decided to go back to court asking for some clarifications on parts of the order, some small changes (hand over day) in our 50/50 and to have the breaks in the order enforced.

The Judge stated in November 24 that “The current arrangement isn’t working”. Fine, I’m not perfect, but I’ve prioritised the children and obeyed the order. From this point on my already difficult ex begins manipulating teachers and other and other professionals in our children’s lives to try and gain an advantage for the up and coming section 7 report.

This manipulative behaviour has been a constant, but the issue seems to be that I have to show it every time and she only needs to manage it once…

Has anyone gone through this and got any advice?

A Section 7 report is a court-ordered assessment by Cafcass or a social worker that advises on a child’s welfare and makes recommendations about living or contact arrangements.
