Indian guy who was too stupid to do an arranged marriage. Marriage has been rocky since the beginning but I was too much of a coward to not separate earlier. Classic case of Sunk cost fallacy.

5 years on and we just had a baby. Wife is trying to limit my contact with the baby by just locking herself in the bedroom most of the time. My parents came here to care for the baby but she doesn't let them talk to her for more than 5 mins in a day.

Any Indian guys in NJ who went through the divorce process? My gut tells me to file for divorce and be truly happy for once but having the baby really complicates things. Wife has been working an Indian job so makes probably 1/10 of what I make but money is a secondary issue for me.

PS: I'm on H1B and wife on H4.
