Have a court date of June 18th- am I going to see it? My attorney said we’ll probably go to a conflict-resolution (mediation)? Idk what to expect, I’ve asked for 50/50 but originally when my wife filed she essentially asked for 80/20 for no reason at all. No abuse, not an alcoholic or anything like that....why would anything but 50/50 happen? Such bs! She filed first and she’s a woman? Why the hell does that matter so much?! She’s literally winning everything at this point! Why can’t I just get 50/50?! Seems completely unfair and sexist or something.....do I want to do mediation? Seems like something that would be “fair” but nothing has been fair up until this point....she’s been lying about everything, telling friends and family lie after lie. I need some help/advice on what I need to do here. I can’t believe this is my life right now...why do women take this route? I probably would be open to more concessions but the way she’s done this makes me want to fight every inch on this.
