Yes, I have a lawyer, but, he's not doing too good and I can't afford to start new with one. So I'm hoping for some help and advice. Everything is almost done. We are fighting over 2 points as the title might give clues on. She is saying she is entitled to Spousal Support as she gave up her career to Support mine (Canadian military family) and suffered as a result.

However, she was on welfare when we met and married, I paid for her to finish college (which caused issues at my work), she never lasted more than three to six months at any job she had, I was punished a number of times because of her direct actions, and so much more. I have proof of all this too.
Yet, at a settlement hearing, the judge said she may have a claim for compensatory Support and my lawyer did/said nothing. She's with a family law lawyer now too so there's no non-compensatory claim.

She's also added her student debt from before we were married as part of her overall debt listed but I thought that wasn't allowed.

She wants to end this now and is willing to talk. Should I tell her that she should get nothing because of all this or tell her my offer is zero and take it to trial?

I am in Ontario, Canada, so please keep that in mind. Unless you know a pro-bono lawyer in SW Ontario than can take this on and will fight, I'm stuck finishing this on my own.
