We had filed together at the courthouse, we opted for 0 child support from both but it was kicked back.

We we receieved the email she took it upon herself to go back and get more info, she came back with a marriage settlement and had put me as the child support payor. She put me down for $20mo for 1 year and asked me to sign it. I told her I would review and let her know.

Spoke to legal aid who said child support is until 18 and we have no control over the amount. It's based off calculating salaries vs obligations. We're doing 50/50 custody though she put herself as the main (183 vs 182 overnights)

We're hiring an attorney per hour to finalize, she agreed to it and we will find out.

Now she makes 15k more than I do but has car payments, aftercare. I have insurance, uniforms and deductibles. Nothing else jointly/both agreed on no alimony.

I could still be in denial but in this process I've seen nothing but the pretending like she know's what she's doing but then on paper hits a couple of important mistakes.

Sadly I'll be hated forever for wanting to be clear and informed in this process.
