My stbxw and I own a business and a nice house together. No kids. Lots of animals though. Anyways she’s the face of the business and is pretty much the breadwinner. I just do all the grunt work and take care of the house, lawn, multiple gardens,laundry etc. she told me less than a month ago that she wanted a divorce(that I do not want)and we have been living together still. Im moving into a small apartment next week but have been struggling finding a job that will cover my expenses. She’s offered to pay me 1000 dollars a month for six months(the exact cost of rent for the new place). I can’t afford a lawyer so that’s pretty much out of the question. Just feeling lost.
