"Don't you feel guilty for being away from home so often and leaving childcare to your wife?"... said to a father sacrificing for his family and working as a FIFO worker at a mine, remote base or offshore oil rig.

"Don't you feel guilty for prioritising your career instead of your family?"... said to the military officer sacrificing time with his family and his lifestyle to protect the safety and security of all our citizens.

"Don't you feel guilty for cancelling yet another date night with your wife and leaving her alone with the kids?"... said to the cardiothorasic surgeon who hasn't had had a chance to leave the hospital for 36 hours and is focusing on saving the life of a stranger's wife.

I also find it incredibly ironic that they blame men for this attitude, but it's almost always women saying it.

Everybody has the right to and should take time for themself. Having a family shouldn't feel like a sentence.

because men usually do this a lot more often then women and once the women do it they are bad moms or bad wifes...
