Not long ago, I made a post on another sub, discussing the stigma surrounding men, particularly regarding sexual violence and lust.

I acknowledge that while men commit the majority of such crimes, it questions whether men are entirely to take the blame.

I argued that men are often deprived of love and appreciation, which leads them to become bitter and to seek sexual objectification as a substitute for affection.

This stigma which society has put over them which can be and mostly is the cause for a man turning immoral, plays a small but significant role in men who commit violent crimes and sexual crimes. It also plays a significant part in misogyny seen in men, as well as misandry seen in women

I also criticized modern feminism for focusing on men's lustful behavior without addressing the underlying causes, such as societal neglect of men's emotional needs.

I stated for a societal shift toward love for men, aiming to improve gender relations, combat misandry as well as misogyny and possibly even reduce sexual violence.

When I posted this, I received so much backlash from other men and women

And entirely due to the fact that people understood the message I was trying to convey.

It is very difficult to counter misandry or misogyny in such an environment
