Bogus research on DV is pushed by feminists not the patriarchy. Fighting to close down womens prisons is being done by feminists. White women in HR setting up female only promotions isn't done by patriarchy, its feminists. Boys lagging in school being excused as they're just lazy, immature etc is done by feminists not patriarchy. Setting up female only scholarships , grants, stipends in university and excluding male students, even though female students are the overrepresented group is done by feminists not patriarchy,

I agree with the sentiment that feminism by definition shouldn't have to care for men much, but one can't simultaenously claim that feminism is for everyone and makes advocacy for men's rights redundant. One can't make the two claims at once. Alternatively, the logical conclusion is that women need something that's focused on them but men don't, translation: men don't need focus. And 'men don't need focus' smacks of male disposability, of course. My preference is for separate dedicated advocacy for each, but also egalitarianism. And a serious response to contradictions and double standards.

The “White Feather” movement in Britain during 1914-18 quickly put an end to the question whether feminism was/is for equality between the sexes. IMO.

How many boys and men were relentlessly shamed by girls and women which ultimately drove them to suicide.

These are not the same. I think it’s also worth saying if you’re elderly and identify as a feminist I put far more respect on that than someone yapping at me about my privilege for not being catcalled and not having a period while their parents are paying their rent and schooling to get their masters -_-
