Honestly, people think coddling only happens to boys. That's not always true. Now I'm not saying it's the norm but I feel like there is a double standard. When a man does something evil, people keep talking about mothers "coddling" their sons and "raising" their daughters but when a woman does something bad, it's ALMOST ALWAYS due to some kind of unknown "abuse". What if the toxic woman were just as coddled when they were young or what if the toxic men were abused?
