Women who cheat, find their affair partners more attractive than their primary partners, even though they might CLAIM that they feel neglected by the latter.

Consistent with a dual mating strategy, women experienced stronger physical attraction to their affair partners and stronger parental attraction to their primary partners.

Contrary to the mate-switching hypothesis, women did not prefer their affair partners overall, parentally, or personally.

In other words, they prefer their primary partner for reasons other than physical attraction. This is why 'husband material' is not usually a complement.

It’s icky when you realize these things

[–]BCRE8TVE 58 points59 points60 points 1 year ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Hence the red pill analogy, leaving the matrix is not fun.

Also, the truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.

[–]Lonewolf_087 12 points13 points14 points 1 year ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You adapt to the real reality and not the fake one.

[–]BCRE8TVE 18 points19 points20 points 1 year ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely.

It's not men who insist about feels before reals. Men are forced to deal with reality. Often women force men to deal with reality, and to change reality to their comfort.

[–]Lonewolf_087 4 points5 points6 points 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I think you have to be willing as a man to know when people are just playing you and recognize you are probably better off without all that. I’ve been single my whole life dated on the short term. The more I look into what’s transpired in my attempts and who I am as a man the more I realize that it’s not this terrible reality to live strong being single.

[–]BCRE8TVE 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I absolutely agree that it is an essential skill for men to recognize when people are playing you and profiting off of you. That's one of the main ways the blue pill harms men, by making them kind caring genial helpers and providers with absolutely no instructions whatsoever on how to protect themselves from being taken advantage of.

After all it benefits women immensely to have caring and pliable men they can take advantage of, and teaching men to have self-respect, self-worth, and protect themselves from abuse by women, doesn't benefit women.

Per being better off without all that, it is absolutely better off to be without someone profiting off of you, but that doesn't automatically mean all relationships and all women will be like that.

It's not terrible at allto live strong being single, and more and more men are realizing that the juice isn't worth the squeeze and going their own way. It's a big change from the blue-pilled extreme feminist push we've seen in society for the last few decades, the pendulum has gone too far and is starting to swing back the other way.

[–]Lonewolf_087 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don’t necessarily have an issue with relationships where it involves a bit of exchange of effort or money but they really need to provide in equal parts what you put in. It’s the only way it’s ever fair I mean a man could be paying for his wife but if she isn’t giving back what good does that do? That’s the thing honestly I think in the past yeah men made the money and the woman gave back in a different way. But they followed through on that. Now you will just see people get greedier and greedier and do less and less even when you’ve done your share. That’s how things are becoming problematic.

And you see right I think the red and black pills are starting to take hold and rebalance things. I think for men it will take some time but this is a proper balancing act that was needed.

Yep.

People don't tend to be happy when they realize they've been lied to for years.

[–]Lonewolf_087 6 points7 points8 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The 80% of men living as strong single men accomplishing their goals and realizing how messed up and biased it is. That’s the back pill. Surface things holding you back from one thing where there are thousands of other important things to do that don’t involve dating.

[–]tiredfromlife2019 50 points51 points52 points 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's simple. Check out dual mating strategy.

Women settle down with husband material men but don't sexually desire him unlike Chad.

[–]Key_Nectarine4670 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's a psyop. Not real

[–]Human_from-Earth 0 points1 point2 points 1 month ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

It's a well documented behaviour in animals with monogamy (mainly birds), you can check it out.

Sure, we're no birds, but there are a lot of proof of similarity.

Only one thing to remember, is that we're more than animals. We have culture and we have intelligence. We can go over our instincts.

In fact, in the same way, Males have a very high interest to cheat too. The more you spread your seed, the more your genes get around. What's the problem? That to spread your seed, you need to be a "winning male" of your species. In fact, if you take good looking, rich and high-power individuals, the cheating factor is very common among them.

The difference with the woman, is that she doesn't need to be in the higher levels. The females will always have pretenders and options. That's how biology works.

[–]tiredfromlife2019 16 points17 points18 points 1 year ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Parentally is what they emphasize. Not paternity.

That's why in dual mating strategy. Get preggo from Chad, have beta cuck take care of the kid and you with resources

[–]randonumero 4 points5 points6 points 1 year ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Even before paternity tests were a thing, getting pregnant by the more desirable guy was very uncommon.

It's an unknown. They claimed that this is the father but nobody can know for sure. Is why the joke of the milkman exists.

Nevermind that things like controlling women were in place. They no longer exist.

[–]Grow_peace_in_Bedlam 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I am the proud grandson of a milkman. However, I don't think he had any special game. He married my grandmother when she was a single mother (although it worked out okay for him, since he had six kids of his own, the first being my mother).

[–]tiredfromlife2019 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I mean there was that trend of people posting photos of their parents when they were young and they end up being more cool and awesome then the kids posting the photos

[–]The_SHUN 7 points8 points9 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Everyone that took the pill knows about it, it’s female hypergamy at work

[–]chobolicious88 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yeah but its a fundamental difference in thinking because we are inherently seeking and prioritizing different things in a long term partner. So both sides to some extent right.

If us men want the results we want, we need to screen women differently. Typically we go with our dicks and our romance. And then we act surprised we are their “hubby material”

[–]ashu1605 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

yeah... lotta guys acting like all women only ever do is blank when the reality is that the guy was horny and desperate and jumped at the first (or few) opportunities at being intimate with a girl. Realistically guys tend to have way fewer options so they aren't in a position to make sure the girl isnt using them or even if she is, the guy is biologically driven to fuck and will more easily be blindsided or just not care and think a woman's attention means she wants to spend the rest of her life with him.

most of the guys around me literally only care about getting it and that's why it's hard making guy friends, having standards means you get laughed at or called gay for turning a woman down. by other guys, and girls alike but primarily guys.

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

if you had vows, your whole paragraph means fuck all. A man is worth only as much as their "word"

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

are you kidding? bro, women have the lie game on lockdown. So everytime you were lied to in your life and believed it and it brought you harm later on thats on "both the parties".

At what point is "take them at their word" going to mean nothing, and then the world becomes a much harder space to navigate. "Prove your worth first, your intentions mean fuck all" comes to mind.

[–]jordylox 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They always find a way to blame it on something other than themselves.

[–]Key_Nectarine4670 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I believe the dual mating strategy is not proven at all

[–]Cypuurpunk 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I know this is old, but basically what I'm getting from this is, women cheat for the love of the game. or just for thrills. that's it. literally that's it. physical attraction aside they don't see their affair partners anywhere near how they see their primary partners. women will literally shag a short term man for the short term. who would've thunk?

[–]SeekingCounsel1 0 points1 point2 points 11 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Almost as if we’re the same side of two coins

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ya no kidding, they want the guy that can SUPPLY THEM THE RESOURCES TO CONTINUE THEIR FUCKING LIFE, BUT THEY WANT THE DICK OF ANOTHER WHO IS A LOSER AND CANT SUPPORT THE WOMAN THEY ARE FUCKING OR THEIR OWN LIVES.

Treat others are you would like to be treated. One day it will be a lonely mess if you choose the wrong actions to pick.

[–]nrverma 545 points546 points547 points 1 year ago (27 children) | Copy Link

Although I appreciate this data being published by a mainstream media outlet, it still frames infidelity in the typical feminist double standard.

When a man engages in infidelity, it is because he lacks self-control. But when a woman engages in infidelity, it is because her male parter is not meeting her needs.

Either way, the man is at fault.

[–]mr_ogyny 229 points230 points231 points 1 year ago (6 children) | Copy Link

It's a byproduct of society never holding women accountable. It enables women to claim that they don't feel supported or fulfilled (after all cheaters are trustworthy aren't they?), even though the reality is that they cheat for the same reason that men do. Cheating men would probably say the same shit if they could get away with it.

https://www.psypost.org/why-do-women-cheat-new-study-reveals-complex-motivations-behind-female-infidelity/

[–]generisuser037 65 points66 points67 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

they wouldn't say a man who cheated on his wife experienced "complex emotions," that's for sure.

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

True, we forget that women profit from infidelity. 1. Postpartum depression leading to more child murders than infant related disease. 2. Child custody "benefits" when they cant support their children through their own employment. 3. Alimony when they are proven they can/cant support their children so their "lifestyle" is hindered. 4. Proven drug addict mothers get custody more often than non drug addict fathers.

[+]randonumero -13 points-12 points-11 points 1 year ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I think society does hold women accountable it's just the ways we do it matter less and less.

[–]KetamineSNORTER1 17 points18 points19 points 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

If society is holding women accountable in your eyes than I can't imagine what it looks like when we don't.

[–]randonumero -2 points-1 points0 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Slut shaming and dire dating/marriage prospects for divorced women and single mothers has always been a thing. To say women have never been held accountable for their actions ignores that a large amount of women historically didn't get away with things many women today do.

[–]KetamineSNORTER1 5 points6 points7 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

First off "slut" shaming isn't bad but that's besides the point, go to any area really (especially big cities) criticize a girl with a high body count and see what happens.

If they are so concerned with dating and or marriage prospects then they ought to stop buying into harmful ideology like feminism.

Obviously women were held accountable back then but that's not the case today.

They are free to get abortions, paternity fraud, draft exemptions, etc. Also your proving my point, they get away with a lot, shoot they get less time for the same crime including rape and murder.

[–]CentralAdmin 146 points147 points148 points 1 year ago (8 children) | Copy Link

I loved this part:

"Now sex researchers are entertaining the possibility that women simply need variety and novelty of sexual experience more than men do,” Martin says.

"Simply need" they say. Like it's not possible for women to speak to their partners to engage in novel sexual experiences.

Nope, they must seek it outside of their relationships. And it is once again men's fault for not giving this to them.

[–]Newleafto 82 points83 points84 points 1 year ago (5 children) | Copy Link

"Now crime researchers are entertaining the possibility that men simply need variety and novelty of criminal experience more than women do,” Martin says.

This is how these idiots sound.

Their blindness is staggering. Men seek sexual variety - they’re scum. Women seek sexual variety - well that’s just a natural healthy urge women have.

[–]CentralAdmin 49 points50 points51 points 1 year ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Yes. And because women have so much control and power in the sexual marketplace, more of them can experience that novelty than men will. And men just have to accept the risk if they desire a partner.

It won't be long before we read AITA posts saying shit like "AITA for insisting my wife stay with me for our anniversary rather than spend the night with her boyfriend?"

[–]Newleafto 28 points29 points30 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You’re very likely to see that sort of thing on the “feminist” subreddits.

[–]Fearless_Ad4244 11 points12 points13 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's why guys should be strong and hold the ground and not be cucks. If she cheats you immediately leave. Also if you see it as a high risk you could just do one night stands and/or fwb

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Immediately, I disagree. Plan your escape. Women are devious. Make sure every box is checked and every detail is taken care of. Leave not one thread for her to pull on to unravel your escape.

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bro, when that becomes a "day" masculinity really has been abolished. But deep rooted male rage will not let that happen.

I hope any husband or father seriously hinders their wife's progress if the wife chooses to betray them in such a manner, especially if the "father/husband" in question was the dictionary definition of "father/husband".

[–]Vivaelpueblo 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

All out no holds barred monkey sex is for her lover, hubby gets starfish sex if he's lucky, the planets align, special birthday etc etc

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol, this is the funny part. Because men don't need novelty from the nagging hag who only gives it up for monetary goods, but doesnt require it from the loser she is fucking on the side.

"When a man engages in infidelity, it is because he lacks self-control. But when a woman engages in infidelity, it is because her male parter is not meeting her needs. Either way, the man is at fault."

That's how a normal femininist would think. Women need to take accountability

[–]Wheream_I 36 points37 points38 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Our entire society is literally centered around women’s inability to take accountability. Why do you think this would be different?

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its okay, just any men that work in any trade charge the bitch double. When you fix her plumbing, or electrical, or patching up her walls.

[–]Idea_Plastic 27 points28 points29 points 1 year ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Bahaha. I’ve cheated and been cheated on. It’s part of living a life of debauchery. Women cheat because they can and it’s exciting. If anything, men cheat because their needs aren’t being met.

I’ve hid in many closets, I used to think it was funny. Truth is, you could be the perfect man but given the opportunity, the odds are she will cheat if she thinks she can get away with it.

It usually comes down to whether or not she feels dominant emotionally and thinks she’s sly, but when you know, you know.

It’s called creating a baseline. When they deviate it’s for a reason, trust your gut.. someone else is probably in her gut lol

Here's how men get manipulated into bringing up someone else's kid. https://www.scotsman.com/news/uk-news/96-of-women-are-liars-honest-2509965

This is seen as an unquestionable female 'right': "The last laugh we have, as women, over our husbands and boyfriends.." https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/who-s-the-daddy/

In fact, to question the 'ethics' of having your bank account raided for eighteen years, while your own genes are consigned to the dustbin is to have a "distorted and thin view of fatherhood." https://jme.bmj.com/content/medethics/33/8/475.full.pdf

Women cheat because they see the opportunity to capture 'better' genes, after they've got the security of being hitched to a beta-provider. There is, of course, a radical solution to this BS. At maternity hospitals, send mothers home with any old baby. Jumble them up a bit.

After all, anything else would be a 'distorted and thin' view of motherhood, surely?

[–]_Genghis_John_ 40 points41 points42 points 1 year ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Wow, this is incredibly depressing.

The use of the term to the effect of "moral obligation" (don't remember the exact word) is downright appalling.

The third link is also grotesque and disturbing. I knew the dating market was bad, but wow, this is horrific.

"The one thing woman had going for them has been taken away" what scumbag wrote this article? Ah yes, women being able to cheat and manipulate the victim into paying for a different child for 18 years was the ONE thing they "had going for them"? Wtf? It literally just shits on paternity tests because it means cheating mothers are forced to take responsibility, and calls it an "antifeminist appliance of science. Tbf they're not wrong - "antifeminist", anything that forces cheating women to hold accountability or gives men actual rights, "so despicable".

I was a research chemist for three decades.

There were, for example, a lot of alpha,beta- unsaturated systems around. In fact, testosterone is an alpha, beta- cyclohexenone in Ring A.

Have been married for 44 years. Two kids. Maybe a baker's dozen of girlfriends before settling down. Retired, and live off-grid. Have no need for insecurities.

Wanting to divide groups into castes is an expression of supremacist thinking.

It traps people into misguided and damaging ideas about themselves and others. It amplifies insecurities and shuts down social mobility, and it does so without any regard for the mental wellbeing of the person it's projected onto.

It's dehumanising and fundamentally misandrist.

You don't have any argument against his points, but you only focus on one thing which wasn't really important to his points in order to shift blame from women to something else and you act like you care about men a lot lol.

That 'one thing' is a reflection of the whole comment - portraying men as hapless losers.

[–]KetamineSNORTER1 -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Yeah but he's not wrong, plus I'm pretty sure the whole alpha beta thing came from a study of wolves and that the leader was the alpha male but the alpha male turned out to be their mother.

[–]Fearless_Ad4244 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

The alpha, beta male argument isn't of main importance in his comment. Yes even though that alpha beta thing was debunked it still doesn't mean that they can't be used to describe something. In this case it's used to differentiate between assertive and non-assertive men or dominant and non-dominant men. Since they are letters of the ancient greek alphabet alpha is first and beta second thus it's a way to show that someone who is an alpha is a leader and someone who is a beta is a follower. So you can use them even outside of the wolves study.

[–]KetamineSNORTER1 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Yes it is, If that's not the main point then what is he talking about?

You can use them but you'll look silly.

[–]Fearless_Ad4244 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

He is saying that evolutionary speaking women like to reproduce with attractive mates and select for parental qualities when raising their child even if said child isn't of said guy who has good parental qualities, in this scenario he is speaking about why women cheat. A guy isn't a "beta" if he raises his own child (unless he acts in the way his partner wants and doesn't have his own independent thoughts and actions and then you can say that he is one even in tha case) in this specific scenario where he isn't raising his own child he would be a "beta" since he is providing for an offspring that isn't his though in this case he is also a cuck.

[–]KetamineSNORTER1 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Like I said, the foundational study where the term beta and alpha was coined was faulty.

So he's a cuck, not a beta.

[–]Fearless_Ad42441 point 1 year ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I acknowledged that the study was debunked. Idk why are you arguing for that when I'm not opposing your claim. I will explain it again. The terms alpha and beta are used to indicate leaders and followers. An alpha is a leader and a beta is a follower. In the ancient greek alphabet alpha is the first letter and beta is the second letter that's why they are used as symbols in relation to leadership and followship. It's symbolc in the sense that a leader goes first and the follower comes after. A cuck would be a beta since someone who is a leader wouldn't want to be a cuck.

The rate of cuckoldry in this Western population was 0.9% (95% confidence interval 0.4–1.5%), and we argue that given the current data on historical populations we have to conclude that, at least for Western human populations, cuckoldry rate is probably in the range of 1%.

I disagree, knowing how the game is played is the only way to improve your odds of winning

There is nothing keeping a beta from becoming more alpha. It’s not a permanent classification and does allow for mobility. It’s also not black and white but all shades of gray

[–]Sir_Spectacular 59 points60 points61 points 1 year ago (17 children) | Copy Link

When discussing reasons, I'm surprised they didn't mention opportunity as a factor.

It's just a fact that, unless he's a truly exceptional specemin, the average guy gets approached by interested members of the opposite sex far less often than the average gal. Knowing that, even if your average guy were more likely to cheat when given the oppourtinity, he's far less likely to get that opportunity to begin with.

If you model every cheating opportunity as a roll of the dice, guys might cheat on a 5-6 instead of just a 6, but women roll that dice far more often.

[–]ashu1605 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (4 children) | Copy Link

it's not always women's choice lol, just admit you like pretending it's not your choice when realistically you can tell when a woman is more superficial and likely to cheat or whether she has traditional values and ethics/morals. Growing up, the vast majority of guys I interacted with seemed to care about fucking more than a relationship, even going to the extent of calling people gay for not jumping at the opportunity.

It's also just as much of your choice to continue to let women like that treat you like that. If she cheats, drop her. If she's talking to several guys romantically while you're still in a relationship, drop her. If she's flirting with other guys while dating, drop her. These beta cucks who let women cheat and walk all over them are the problem because it enables women to continue to do just that. If your friend is simping for a woman who clearly doesn't plan on actually keeping a monogamous relationship with him, tell him. Just be brutally honest because it validates women to continue to act like that and harms other men in the process.

[–]walterwallcarpet 6 points7 points8 points 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Less than a lifetime ago (1950s), dating was about assessing compatibility of a future partner. Any red flags, and you'd move on. Sex before marriage was very much frowned upon by wider society, but of course there was a game being played between the sexes. It was in male interest to press for early closure - not simply for the personal pleasure aspect, but because it also yielded information. Could this woman be trusted? If she's handing it out to you on a Saturday night, what was she doing last week? So, if a woman behaved carelessly with her bounties, the sensible solution is exploiter mode. You accept what she's offering, then you move on. Meanwhile, it's in female interest to hold out for as long as possible. Once a suitor has spent sufficient time and money on 'courting' her, it's not in his interest to pack it all in and begin the time, trouble and expense of looking for another partner. Hence, women were encouraged by society and religion to maintain their modesty. As well as avoiding the problems of unwanted pregnancies, this was actually the best way to keep men interested.

Then, in the early 1960s, the birth control pill was invented. This changed the dynamic, and was the beginning of dating becoming less about the assessment of mutual compatibility, and more about hooking up.

Speaking personally, I reckon the 1970s were the best time in the history of the entire world for a young man to be alive. The rule book had been torn up. The rules were being re-written by women, and, with their new-found liberty from their own fertility they were trying to be more like men. They exhibited a phenomenal amount of sexual aggression. It was the Wild West!!

And what does a man do in such circumstances? Same as he did in the 1950s. He takes what's offered, and he moves on.

This information comes to you courtesy of someone who, in the 1970s, was a working class kid with a (badly) broken nose. Didn't have a lot of money. But, I liked fun, and was well on my way to achieving two good degrees, and was likely to get a good job. That sort of social mobility for men existed back then. University was about 80% male. That ratio is inverted today. I'm under no illusion about how it all works. https://assets.csom.umn.edu/assets/71503.pdf

Maybe having a sense of fun attracted the girlies, but when they saw that I might be a prospect, they were happy to stick around. And, if they were handing it out too soon, I'd be the one to split.

At the end of the day, monogamy was about transferring wealth, property and resources to a female, in exchange for her fertility. It hasn't been easy for me to get to a position where I can even stand on the threshold of opening the door to these resources. So WHY GAMBLE THEM? Men should commit only to someone they can TRUST.

Eventually, met someone utterly unique. Have been married 44 years, two adult kids, who are now middle aged, independent, successful men. We're all happy. Although the kids live 400 miles away, while they follow their own trajectory and careers, we're pretty close.

Didn't follow the trends in the dating scene after marriage, but I know they haven't been good. There was AIDS in the 1980s. Then, feminism, now deeply embedded into society has been making it difficult for men. If a man can't get a job = no girlfriend. If a man is afraid to approach a girl because of draconian 'sexual harassment' legislation = no girlfriend. And, if kids are being taught to be 'queer' in elementary school, and that 'all heterosexual sex is rape', then the future doesn't look bright.

https://www.thecrimson.com/article/1993/3/9/think-twice-about-tenuring-mackinnon-pit/

Anyway, have probably said enough. Your warning to young men that they should NOT allow women to walk all over them is excellent advice. Once a pattern has been set....

PS (Edit): It's ALWAYS women's choice whether they put out, or not.

Yes, EEO, AA, DEI and ESG quotas for women aren't designed to improve male prospects in the sexual marketplace.

The other side of the pincer movement against men arises from over the top 'sexual harassment' legislation which has proliferated in the 21st Century. It's too easy for women to make trouble for males in the workplace, and even in the wider environment, often on the flimsiest of excuses. If you can't even start flirting and having fun, the whole mating process is stopped before it even starts.

My guess is that the 2020s aren't anything like the 1970s.

It’s worst for a woman to cheat as she can get pregnant and mislead her man into raising her child believing he’s the father and there is no legal punishments for committing such an act. It's not really surprising as humans have evolved from polygamous societies where women had abundance of partners at disposal while men had less options to very likely having only one partner in their entire lives

The more the societies became agricultural and marriage became a norm polygamy ended however being polygamous stayed with women and given the societal standards of forgiving women for everything and them being driven by emotion and lust it's not surprising that they are more likely to cheat than men

Men on the other hand had less options or as "high" of a sexual value than women so the partner they chose was pretty much their only partner and post agriculture loyalty became the highest value

Also given mens willpower and dedication I assume they were less likely to cheat despite their high libido as the risk though exciting was not worth it in the long term and will very likely lead to losing current partner and given how difficult is for men to get another genuine woman nobody would be taking the risk

Thing is the whole morality when it comes to cheating has always been underplayed for women to show them in a purer more moral light which the feminists conveniently weaponize to take a higher moral ground despite the ground reality

The very fact that men having affairs are ostracized and shamed for being disloyal and disgusting while if women did the same the blame is very conveniently shifted on men that they must have not been treating them right and due to which she was forced to cheat

Given that women have always been polygamous combined with the benefits of property being associated with men post agriculture they managed to grab the best of both worlds ruining lives of men and breaking down the delicate social fabric

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree, but women cheat and get nothing to show for it but the dick they took. They go back to the man who can "man-up" and provide. When that day comes to an end most of these "women" will not be able to provide for themselves, and this is becoming more of a problem for the broader female population.

Most men just want ONE girl, to be by their side, to live a life together as partners. Through thick and thin. The only people who think infedility is worth the squeeze havent been pinched by it yet.

Most women want a man that is only written about in fairy tales.

Those that know already know, only bluepillers don’t know

Dude no way! I think i have this same study saved! What a Coincidence. But yeah dude it sucks that this is true. Men are getting the main brunt of it.

[–]RandomYT05 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We knew for a long time women will cheat more often than men. It's a stereotype they're having a hard time propping up.

[–]Pulvrizr99 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women are also the only gender that can surprise their spouse with a kid that actually isn't their's, with no repercussions!

I have always believed that women cheat FAR more than men. The vast majority of women have the ability to cheat whenever they feel like it. Even women who are below average in attractiveness can put a few photos online on dating or hookup sites without showing their face, state that they only want NSA fun, and she will have multiple men who are more attractive than her hit her up almost immediately inviting her over to their place for a romp. If men want to cheat, they still need to be good looking, have game, and be able and willing to put in time and effort to make it happen.

Some women might believe that men also get this same attention from women and don’t need to try, but only the very upper tier of men in the attractiveness department will ever have it happen where a woman just offers herself up for fun. 90% of men will never experience this happening to them.

There is another issue with these stats and that it they rely on people self reporting if they have cheated or not. Even if it’s completely anonymous, some women will still lie and say that they have never cheated when they have. Which brings me to my next point; some women will actually convince themselves that cheating is not cheating under certain circumstances. For example, if she was at a bachelorette party or a girls night out and she let a male stripper put his dick in her mouth for a few strokes, there is a strong chance that a LOT of women would laugh it off and believe that it wasn’t cheating. If she was dating a man exclusively for months but decided to meet up with an ex and they had sex, many women would believe that it’s not “really” cheating since she had sex with him many times in the past so once more isn’t hurting anything. Another instance could be that her and man had a massive argument and she went out and cheated on him, she might well convince herself that it wasn’t cheating because he made her so angry and she was considering breaking up with him in that moment. Another case is if she hooked up with someone famous. Many women seem to consider celebrities, pro athletes, musicians, etc. to be some sort of freebie loophole. Another one is if the woman was out partying and drinking, she might believe that she was drunk so she wasn’t in the right frame of mind and can’t be held responsible. One other that I have heard is it’s not cheating if the guy didn’t cum. Somehow, they believe that equals nothing happened.

Btw, the same women who believe the above would consider it ridiculous and insulting if a man attempted to use the same exact excuses to claim that he didn’t cheat.

[–]Slay_the_Liars 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yah fuck that shit, its time women get this same bullshit played on them.

"BITCH, I didnt cum so it wasnt cheating", "BITCH, it was an ex i used to fuck daily and now i just fucked her once, cause you didnt want to". "BITCH, you made me mad/sad/glad so I fucked around on you, so do better next time."

Its time relationships means nothing more than how tight they are, or do they open their wallets to pay for things, or do they do anything around the house (that most men bought).

All i see in general is data, but little insight into whats best for men.

[–]tiredfromlife2019 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Cause there is no solution for men that works under liberalism and conservatism which is liberalism lite.

Nevermind that people want men to marry women so that a woman is taken care of into old age and resources go to her child.

So they ain't advocating to go mgtow or volcel.

[–]chobolicious88 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I mean dont support dual mating stategy if you dont want dual mating results.

[–]tiredfromlife2019 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's part of women.

How do you control that without going against liberalism? Nevermind that's controlling women is le bad under liberalism. Why do you think they push so much that men should not be jealous?

[–]chobolicious88 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You cant change others. Only adjust your own actions.

I say learn about a womans past before commiting to her.

[–]tiredfromlife2019 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And they won't cause society will not allow it.

And society desires to control and change men.

[–]Plus-Pollution-5916 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Regardless of the study, woman can easily seduce a man but the inverse is not very less likely. The very least thing one cannot deny is that, it is easy for women to cheat.

[–]randonumero 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Looks like a lot of self reported data but it stands to reason that women would cheat more because they have far more opportunities to cheat. Arguably women also stand to lose less if caught cheating.

[–]Pretend-Storm4566 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You know, I think most woman would admit this, and admit they have double standards that men cheating is worse than women cheating.

[–]KilljoyTheTrucker 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I doubt there's a way to accurately quantify it, but I'd bet it coincides with relative opportunity.

Most dudes, especially younger guys now, don't have a lot of opportunities to bang, whether they lie about their relationship status or not. Women would have reasonably good odds waking around asking random dudes on the street, even if they were open about it being cheating.

[–]No_Confidence_4820 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

What bullshit! This study is fake news!!! Men cheat far more than women! That’s fact!

[–]Crambone219 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women are always looking for the next best thing….even when they are perfectly content with the man and their lives!…..they don’t know what it’s like to be loyal….women suck

[–]Cool_Psychology_8042 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's roughly neck, and neck when it comes to infidelity. Men cheat with who they can, women cheat with who they want. In the end it ends up close, very close.

[–]Same_Meat2587 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This article didn't have any actual statistics nor did it have any evidence of polls or any proof that they had looked into the other side to see how often men cheat. Basically this article lacks statistics, any actual solid evidence, or any counter argument to go off of. If anyone can find an article that isn't just baseless claims and quotes that could be made up it would be great to see

Yes, they are. And they're much more secretive about it. Not only that, but when they do, you'll start to notice that they start accusing you of cheating like crazy. My ex started a huge fight with me when my brother died and I went to his funeral 2 states away. While I was there another ex came in and hugged me and told me she was sorry for my loss. She called me up later and asked if I wanted to hang out. I said I did and she came and picked me up. We went out to eat and then went to her place. We ended up fucking and then she took me home. Later on my girl at the time sent me a picture of the girl's house that id cheated with. She told me her name and told me that if I ever talked to her again she'd tell her husband (yes my ex was married, but she's always been that one ex that I always end up getting with everytime we see each other. We haven't been together for years, but I still got love for her). She started a lot of problems and held that over my head for years, although it was the only time I cheated, and the whole thing could have been avoided if she'd just came to my brothers funeral with me. Who starts a fight with someone that just tragically lost their younger brother? Thats the hardest thing I've ever went through. Come to find out later, she'd cheated too. Not only then but multiple times over a period of many years. Id always know when she did because she'd start accusing me and snooping through my phone, even though she kept her phone locked. She was crazy, but had some good pussy. And she wanted to put it on everyone. I dont know how the hell it stayed so tight. I found a video on her phone once after she left me for 3 months and came back and she was getting absolutely piledriven by this dude with a 12 inch dick. She even had a 12 inch dildo she'd use after that he bought for her. She wouldn't delete the video either and she'd watch it when she'd use that dildo. It was so big that it didnt even fit all the way. She was absolutely moaning and screaming and begging him to fuck her harder. It was actually kind of hot. So hot that I didnt even mind her watching it. I wish id have sent it to my phone lol. It was actually amazing. Like something that would get millions of views on porn sites haha.. not that id have posted it. Its just something id like to jerk it to now and again lmao

God I love it when people actually use their brains! Truth is, most people, are imbeciles. Not in the clinical sense of course, more in the sense that, despite having perfectly functional mental faculties, most people simply refuse to exercise them. The fact that women cheat more has always been self-evident to me — even before I saw it happening with my own eyes— and I never believed the stats for one second.

Men might've cheated more at some point in time for sure, but since the pill in the '60s, and 2nd/3rd wave feminism in the '70s, it's been flipped on its head. With social media in the 2000s, and dating apps in the early 2010s the whole thing became a shit show.

[–]MigWeldingJoker 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women can cheat any day they have free time, men are pigs. A dude would have to work for it lol

[–]jack_avram1 point 1 year ago [recovered] | Copy Link

With the dating statistics always saying twice as many men are single, seems reasonable

[–]Standard_Bar_1891 point 11 months ago [recovered] | Copy Link

by the time, a man cheats, he’s been laying in his bed at night staring into the dark for years wondering why she doesn’t love me anymore. Why she turned off the romance despite everything he’s done for her she hates him. she turns of the off the affection spout (not just sex cause man crave way more than that despite female propaganda) . then if something does happen she’s cries and and screams about “all you care about is sex “ well maybe after breaking a man down till he’s scared to even ask his wife for sex via text once every two months. first it’s “no” . then after a few months or a year it’s left on read no answer . which is “no” but 100x more mean. “we have sex !!! “ she’ll say. because once every two months, she’ll pull her pants now bend over and make you do a quickie in the bathroom with no foreplay. If you can imagine you get up in time. and if you say can we hace a little more passion? pants back up see you in 3-4 months if you’re lucky.

i get that yall are all idiots and don't care about the truth, but if you actually read the cited article, it doesn't say that women cheat more at all. in fact it says literally the opposite. which lines up with pretty much every other study on the subject. but that's what happens when you start taking the newyork-motherfucking-post as a legitimate source.

well that, and also when you don't actually check your sources.

The NY Post? Seriously? And “science shows”?

[–]duhhhh 6 points7 points8 points 1 year ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The NY Post and DailyMail are both near tabloid media AND are often the only kinds of news outlets that will publish legitimate information that goes against both the woke left and religious right narratives. Find the source study after you find the articles in them.

[+]bluehorserunning -2 points-1 points0 points 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

“Legitimate” really?

You’re seriously going with the ‘tabloids tell us the secret truth’ angle?

[–]duhhhh 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'll give you an example. There was a massive increase in FGM in the UK. It was so bad the government allocated millions of pounds to open eight FGM centers around the country. The daily mail was one of the only ones to report the raw data.

in the year to March 2017, only 57 were performed in the UK of which 50, or 87 per cent, were in the category for piercings, and all the women whose ages were known were over 18

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-5434125/amp/Almost-FGM-cases-Britain-legal-piercings.html

It turns out the massive increase was because the NHS told doctors to count genital piercings as FGM. Didn't see that reported in other mainstream media.

“I mean all boys lie as well, but why are girls cheating more in 21st century. Multiple researches have been done…”

Sounds like an article written by a Nigerian prince. Or a Russian.

Second article doesn’t say anything about women cheating more than men, and btw: https://ifstudies.org/blog/who-cheats-more-the-demographics-of-cheating-in-america

What I can access of the 3rd one says men and women cheat at similar rates, not that women cheat more.

[–]Fearless_Ad4244 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes it states that the cheating rate is at the same level. The first one is related to millenial women and gen z women whereas the second one is related to the cheating rate in relation the number of partners you have had. Yes I have seen the article you sent and it says that men cheat more that's what you would find online also in the first searches where it says that 20% of men have admitted to cheating and 13% of women have admitted to cheating. That doesn't mean that that's true it could mean that women hide it more due to percieving that they will be judged harshly and more so than men thus not answering the truth after all women are more desired on a sexual level than men. The first link I sent was written by an indian I think.
