Somebody is talking on the phone about how they can't find something. You notice the object in front of them. Do you:

  1. Helpfully point it out to them
  2. Go home and write a piece of reddit about how men deliberately go out of their way to do something badly to avoid doing it again

(1) is what most sane people do but (2) is what you do if you are a misandrist. You project that subtle dislike into your post filling the gaps to fit with your world view that men are bad.

The post continues and makes all sorts of assumptions

  1. He is talking to a woman
  2. He is attempting to do a bad job to ensure he is never asked to do it again

None of this is based on any sort of facts, they didn't even hear who he is talking to. They've no idea what is going on in his life, they've no idea what neuro-diversities he has. All they see is the misandrist message pumped out in female spaces which they reflect into the real world. She get's 3.6k up votes and 382 comments agreeing with her on a story we don't even know to be true.

She could simply of helped him by pointing to it. She did not. She is a misandrist and chose to leave him to struggle due to gender. If it were a woman struggling would she do the same ? I suspect not.

In this way misandry is not simply in the digital world, it's in the real world. It's influencxing how women behave to other people based on gender. it's subtle, but prevalent.
