Seems spot on. The absence of any real class politics has been great for middle class women and has allowed them to use everyone else as a punching bag or fig leaf.

Alexdra Kollontai, an early Bolshevik in the 1920s, wrote tracts condemning women who were housewives and sex workers for opting out of proletarian life and recreating bourgeois ideas of the family etc. East Germany stigmatised housewives in a similar way and got huge numbers of women into work and education.

women fought in the 1916 rising but out of like 10 leaders only one was a woman and she was the one of the only ones not executed (they didn’t kill my goat eaomom de valera bc he was America) but there was a few female fighters but during the war of independence that number was basically obsolete

Communists do not understand "wrong" the way fish do not understand "wet." It is incredible how they can not only be incorrect about everything, but never understand that someone is telling them they are wrong about something.
