So I grew up in a house surrounded by Nascar and Camel cigarettes memorabilia to give you a hint. And when I got out of there I really questioned how I was raised, especially towards women (my father's bitterness towards the opposite sex came from a place of hurt and resentment). I sometimes go so far out of my way not to make a woman uncomfortable that it's oftentimes misinterpreted as lack of interest. I've even had my sexuality come into question by former friends because I just don't want to accidentally offend a woman. Has this ever happened to anyone else or am I just an awkward penguin?
