First, ghosting is very toxic but has taken off as a way to 'get rid' of a person easily. They might be assuming you're doing this. The problem with ghosting and the silent treatment is that, scientifically speaking, activates a primal fear and the pain receptors in the brain. We're literally in pain when we're ignored (the science Red Pill conveniently doesn't mention). However, there's a tactful way to do both 'get rid' of and inform of your busy schedule: communicate. You're likely not communicating enough for them (this can be an incompatibility).

Communicating prior to a date is a bit necessary in this day in age because there are so many assaults happening. Talking with you can ease her mind prior to meeting a 'stranger'. This isn't "beta" or "clingy". See this as a way to get to know each other more to see if a date would even be needed. A prequalification of sorts.

Communicating isn't "beta" either, it's polite and respectful. The middle ground is to inform the girl that you're not ignoring her, that you're just busy with other things and are unable to talk frequently. Setting honest expectations is key. This sets her up for how things will be like with you. If she doesn't like that you cannot talk often, she's free to move on. But, on the flip side, you have to be okay with her moving on to someone that better fits her needs/wants.

Don't string her along. If you can only talk once a week, say so. If these are women you're wanting to be with and you can't talk once a week, you may want to reevaluate whether you have time for a relationship (little communication is usually what sets the stage for her leaving or 'cheating).

Personally I (a lady) don't see a need to text between introduction and actually meeting, unless it's to confirm something about your date or say "I'm on my way," etc. Leave the chit-chat to the actual date.

But what's most important here is how you feel about texting--do you want to have chatty text conversations with someone before you meet them? If you don't, then don't. If you do, do it!

Remember that women aren't a monolith, and that what one woman will interpret as neglect or ghosting will be differently interpreted (even welcomed) by another woman. Just take it as it comes, and don't do anything that feels off or wrong to you.

I like to get to know a person through text or calls before deciding to meet up (usually a week or so later). Lets me see if they share my type of humor and eases the tension of meeting a stranger for the first time, as I'm shy. The "who are you" stuff is over and I can bring more fun to the first date conversations. Everyone is different, where some would play it cool, I'd be weirded out if they don't bother socializing with me for days. The real beta thing is second guessing yourself because of TRP. If you feel an urge to socialize with someone, do so.

Suggestion: don't meet women off the internet

I would ignore any women you get red flags from, aka getting cussed out.. sounds a bit excessive
