You need to be studying the technology and economic imperatives of global instantaneous comms, social media , and algorithmic sorting. These are structural issues which have nothing to do with sex-war ideology; they precede it.

Very interesting work there.
I don’t know if my story is what you are looking for but here we go.
Luckily for me i was only grazed briefly by this garbage.

It happened during a rough period of my life, nothing was going the right way and I ended up very isolated and apathetic.

During this period i came in contact with this type of content and at first it sounded very good.
Telling me to take control of my life and working to better myself were good advices.

The problem is that I was carrying a lot of emotional traumas with me that I was told to ignore and repress.

I was lucky to have people around me that pushed me to seek Professional help for that and through therapy i managed to tackle those issues.

From that point the RP content started to sound only hateful and misogynistic so i stopped paying attention to it.
