It seems so freaking simple but because one of my lifelong struggles is figuring out balance because the majority of my energy in and outside of work is dedicated to helping, caring for, and serving others, it took a LOT of time and real work peeling back and repurposing so many onion layers to finally prioritize demonstrating to myself and others that I value myself and my body enough to actually do things that are good for me, like....

I’m finally now running outside at least every other day (and doing something outside at least once a day).

I got rid of all old unmatched / gross / worn out towels and bedding. I now have only coordinating glorious fab towels and super high quality luscious sheets (btw this does NOT have to be expensive - if you keep your eye out you can find AMAZING towels and sheet sets at Goodwill / thrift stores and furniture consignment shops).

I go to bed at the same time every day and have a very healthy sleep routine.

After my STBX husband moved out this year I refinanced my home, got a cheaper payment and now it's in my name only. Taking care of a house by myself was scary at first but I'm learning so much and it's honestly been so empowering.
