Ladies. If you are not getting your needs met DUMP HIS ASS. I know breakups are tough. And they are even harder to deal with when the man isn't a bad guy. He has good qualities but he isn't providing you with whatever "blank" you need in your life. Its been one year since I broke up with my boyfriend of three years and I want to provide you with my reflections. He was my first serious relationship, and I tried to make him happy by completely ignoring my own needs, never speaking up about what was bothering me, and allowing him to do whatever he wanted. I tolerated his pushy female friends and never said boo when he was very obviously having emotional affairs with exes. I allowed him to push me around when it came to my own friends, what I did, and what I wore. I also tolerated his very crippling porn addiction and his overall ineptness when it came to finances, health, and common sense. Let me tell you, even though I was very fond of him, my inner woman absolutely despised him. I shuddered at the thought of having children or getting married to him. And even though I thought I was in love with him, his lack of common sense culminated in me breaking up with him last March. Now, what did I do wrong. We continued a ridiculous situationship all of last summer. He sucked me back in with his "emotional fragility" and I helped him move, helped him take care of his cats even though he was absolutely inept at taking care of himself, much less animals. I was still acting as his girlfriend while he was out on tinder, sleeping around with every one of his girl friends that he told me "he wasnt attracted to" and that "i didnt have to worry about". In July I caught him in a massive lie. He was out on a date with a girl who had slept with her brother (lol), when he had told me he was at his friends house. He came over crying, telling me he was sorry for lying, asking me to get back together with him, telling me he wanted to marry me. I told him I couldnt get back together with him when he had just lied but that I would reconsider in a month. Guess what. Less than a month later he messaged me telling me he only wanted to be friends, and then turned around and started to a date an ex from high school, a girl that he said "was stalking him and was psychologically abusive". What did I do? I told him I was not going to tolerate being friends with him, that he had one week to return all my things before I blocked him. Guess what. He threw out all my things even though I returned his stuff to him perfectly intact. The moral of this story ladies is block! On all platforms. It helped me heal and didnt give me a chance to get sucked back into his bs. I also blocked all of his friends and any of the girls he might be dating, as I knew I would start feeling bad if I saw them having fun together. Yes, i had a few bad nights where I drank alot and cried in the bath tub. More I was feeling bad that I had been rejected by him and not the other way around. But I got over it. Half the time our feelings and deep heartbreak are created by ourselves. Please ladies. Learn from my mistakes. Love yourselves and don't waste precious time boohooing over these low level scrotes. The one good thing out of all of this is that I went into a deep reflection on my three year relationship, I discovered FDS and the Rules, and I am allowing myself to be respected by men for the first time in my life. Love is temporary ladies! And oftentimes its just hormones and misplaced feelings that arent even real. If a man isn't providing you with what you want in a relationship, move on.
