Stories like this make me so, so sad. The thing to remember is that a man who truly loves you will work his life to fit around your dreams. HVM will literally move continents for the woman they love.

In your case, you're still relatively young and the situation was salvageable. Just think how much worse it could have been.

Girl I'm in the exact situation! I took a year off to work my ass off and provide for my ex, I paid the bills, gave him sex whenever he wanted, cooked and cleaned, now I hate myself for doing all that wife shit for a man that never put a ring on it and never provided. He cheated on me and now I'm last minute enrolling in univeristy, I took some community college classes when I was with him but half of the credits didn't even transfer. I will never EVER give up my career path for a man ever again, I gave up everything for him and did everything he wanted and he still cheated and now I have to start college from square one!!!
