So I’ve been talking to what I think is a HVM. He has been interested, respectful, polite, and has put a lot of effort into our upcoming first date (I know it’s a little taboo to be dating these days with covid, but we are both in healthcare anyway, so we are both exposed on the daily anyway. Side note, clearly he has a good career). He has made it clear that he is very interested in me, possibly for the long haul depending on how things go (meaning he has made it known he is hoping for long term commitment, but he is not love bombing me either). He wanted to take me to a fancy dinner and a movie. The problem is that nothing is open- no theaters and almost no dining rooms of restaurants. Our only option is to pick something up and watch it at one of our places and then watch a movie on the couch. I don’t think covid was some grand sneaky plan of his to sidestep the rules. I think it’s legit. But I’m wondering how the rest of you have been dealing with things like this. Are there new FDS dating recs that are covid specific? New ways to determine HVM vs LVM? Things I should watch out for?
