This is so true, my least conventionally attractive boyfriends have been the absolute worst to me. Both gaslit me, cheated on me, hid our relationship, instigated fights constantly, negged me. They absolutely THRIVED on attention from other people and could never be satisfied by themselves.

I really do believe that the more attractive, educated, high value men are typically more secure in the themselves. They’re used to getting women and turning them down, they are confident in what they bring to the table, so if they choose you, it means they value you.

I was so infatuated but now the rose colored glasses have come off i'm like 'why was i so into that???? He had the nerve to treat ME like crap too??' Confidence sure is everything.
