Hi!! Welcome new friend! Have you read the FDS handbook? This sub isn't 100% about just dating but also how to navigate this patriarchal society we're in and avoid the traps. If you've browsed this sub enough,then the takeaway you would've gotten thus far is-- NO! DO NOT LOWER YOUR STANDARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Online dating apps aren't that great. The general consensus on this sub is that they suck and have just allowed more men access to a huge population of women they endlessly swipe through and try to use. It's not like you are missing one app that has the most amazing men or anything dw. Here at FDS you're supposed to avoid a scarcity mindset.Personally... I think the quality of men for the most part is greatly lacking and it's pretty disgusting. Used to stress me out a lot but what can I do? So now I'm not worried about it anymore (hopefully this doesn't change)

My personal experience, if this motivates you to hopefully read the handbook and realize you're going to be doing better really soon:

I was worried about not being in a relationship prior to FDS, it would eat up my time and kept me in a relationship with a liar and a cheater (refused to believe it was happening, ate up the excuses since there was no "real evidence", didn't trust my gut). Post FDS I'm in such a better place. The handbook really helps! Remember that relationships are not the most important things in our lives. Its awesome that we have goals of having a life partner but do not fret just because you're not in a relationship currently.

That being said, within the handbook- ignore the part where it says men are constantly flocking and hitting you up so you should feel like there's a constant supply of men. There was a discussion earlier this month I think where people were pointing out that it's not the case or its just really lame guys (no high quality) looking for sex or nudes. I forgot what the conclusion was for why there aren't a bunch of guys hitting people up anymore? Especially if you don't have a dating app.

Do not let the amount of male attention you are getting define you or get you down. Okay this was a lot of typing, hope that helped!
