Because they are so full of themselves they think you even looking their way (no sex on the table) is the equivalent of you agreeing to commit to them. They are so misinformed. Keep on ignoring them queen I'm in the same boat.

Your assessment is correct, it is emotional sadism.

I've since given up on therapy, but years ago when I still thought it was the healthy thing to do I used to go to a therapist during tough times in my life. When I started dating after my divorce I encountered a lot of LVM from all walks of life. I told my therapist that it seemed as if men hated me and wanted to hurt me. Of course she turned it around that somehow I was 'choosing' a certain type of man. This was patently false. It took me a few years, finding Psychopath Free and then FDS to realize the epidemic of sociopathic behavior amongst men. Almost every woman I know has had a similar experience to mine. Now, on FDS and a few other places women are comparing notes.

I always go back to this Germaine Greer quote:

"Women have very little idea how much men hate them."

You focus on yourself, queen.

You don't owe men anything. The men that have been doing that to you sound as if they're of low quality. Low-quality men are sadistic, and are like parasitic worms. They feed on our emotional reactions, due to their having no ability to express it themselves.

I saw a post recently on FDS about a sex-worker speaking of what her experience. Her clients would request absolutely sadistic shit, to inflict upon her--and if she refused... during the act, they'd still go along with it. These were men in their 40s, that were probably married and had kids.

The quickest way to deal with them, is that you just don't. You walk the away, and give your precious time and energy to the things that matter. I believe that good men do exist, it's just sad that a majority of men are sociopathic. Any response to them is a waste of your time, ultimately. Because they're predators. If you don't give them the time of day, what do they do? They move onto someone else, quick and easy.
